Grateful for Arizona’s Community Leaders
Grateful for Arizona’s Community Leaders Arizona is filled with incredible people who dedicate their lives to serving others, and I am deeply thankful for them. As Governor, I will always value and support community leaders who put people first and work to create real, lasting change. Doctors like Dr. Erickson remind us what leadership through service looks like—focusing on solutions, compassion, and improving the lives of others. Together, we can build an Arizona where those making a difference are supported, heard, and empowered to keep changing lives for the better.
A True Grassroots Campaign
This campaign has never been about political insiders, big money, or powerful connections. It has always been about the people of Arizona. Every mile traveled, every conversation, every event, and every challenge has been fueled by one purpose—to serve you. I am the definition of a grassroots candidate because this movement belongs to everyday Arizonans. Thank you for believing in a different path forward. Together, we are proving that integrity, hard work, and the voices of the people still matter. Arizona, thank you for standing with me. Let’s keep building this movement—together.
The next 12 weeks will be filled with travel across our great state, conversations with Arizonans, listening, learning, and staying focused on what matters most—you, Arizona. I am excited for the road ahead and grateful for the opportunity to experience this campaign alongside the people I am asking to serve. I want to hear your stories, understand the challenges facing your communities, and talk about real solutions for Arizona’s future. Thank you, Arizona, for giving me this incredible opportunity. I am ready for the miles, the conversations, the work, and the full experience of this journey. Let’s make these next 12 weeks count.
Leadership That Cannot Be Bought
Politics becomes dirty when the pursuit of money, power, influence, and celebrity becomes more important than the calling to public service. I refuse to let that happen to me. I am not bought now, and I will not be bought—ever. I am a real person fighting for real change in Arizona, and I intend to hold tightly to my integrity every step of the way. Being Governor should never be about becoming powerful or famous; it should be about serving the people who trusted you with the job. Arizona, we do not have to accept politics as usual. We can demand something different. We can choose integrity over influence, people over power, and service over status. I am doing it—and you can too, Arizona. Change starts with us.
Walking Arizona, Listening to Arizona
One of the greatest gifts of running for Governor is getting to walk around every corner of Arizona, meet people where they are, hear their stories, and experience the communities that make our state so special. In everyday life, we all get busy. Work, family, responsibilities, and the demands of the day can make it difficult to slow down, travel our state, and truly connect with the people around us. But running for Governor has given me the unique opportunity—and responsibility—to intentionally carve out that time. And I love it. I get to show up. I get to listen. I get to learn. I get to see Arizona through the eyes of the people who live here. That is incredibly special to me, because this is what being Governor should be about: knowing the people you serve and never becoming disconnected from the communities you represent. Thank you, Arizona, for welcoming me into your communities, sharing your stories with me, and allowing me to walk this journey alongside you. ❤️🌵🇺🇸
Bringing Real People Back to Government
Thank you, Eddie, for your outreach, your support, and your connection to the community! It means so much to have people willing to step up, get involved, and help bring Arizonans together. Everyone, I realize we are not used to seeing real, everyday people in politics. We have watched the political system for years and, understandably, many of us have lost trust in politicians and government. I understand that because I feel it too. That is exactly why I am running for Governor of Arizona. I am not running to become a career politician. I am running because I believe government is supposed to work for the people. Arizona deserves leadership that listens, shows up, tells the truth, and remembers who elected them in the first place. We can bring trust, accountability, common sense, and humanity back into government—together. People over politics. Arizona first. Your voice matters.
Supporting Arizona Small Businesses
Small businesses are the heart of Arizona’s communities and a critical part of our economy. We must continue to support the entrepreneurs, families, and local leaders who take risks, create jobs, invest in our neighborhoods, and turn their ideas into something that strengthens Arizona. Urban Fraiche in Phoenix is a great example. Open for less than two years, this local business has already earned numerous awards and recognition—showing what can happen when hardworking Arizonans have the opportunity to build, grow, and succeed. We cannot underestimate or undermine the importance of small businesses and the people behind them. As Governor, I will advocate for an Arizona where small businesses have the opportunity to thrive—not be buried by unnecessary barriers, rising costs, or policies that make it harder to succeed. When we support small businesses, we support Arizona families, Arizona jobs, and Arizona communities. Let’s keep Arizona entrepreneurs growing.
Go Everywhere Because Every Arizonan Matters
Leadership doesn’t happen from behind a desk—it happens by meeting people where they are. As I travel Arizona, I go everywhere and talk to everyone, including local smoke shops, because every conversation matters. I place my campaign sticker, meet with staff and patrons, and listen. Many people who walk through those doors are facing health challenges, addiction, or other struggles. They deserve to know there is someone running for Governor who genuinely cares about expanding access to healthcare, treatment, recovery, and real solutions. As Governor, I won’t avoid difficult conversations or overlook any community. Every Arizonan deserves to be heard, respected, and represented.
Grassroots Means Making It Work! 😂🌵
Amazon shirts when you’re running a grassroots campaign… apparently sometimes you don’t get the entire word! 😂🤣 “Or,” “For”… here I am! You have to laugh and keep moving! I may not have the big political machine, massive PAC money, or perfectly printed shirts—but I have determination, grit, and a commitment to keep showing up for the people of Arizona. Still running just as hard. Still traveling Arizona. Still listening. Still fighting for the people. And yes, I love Subway too! 😂🥪 Sometimes grassroots means making the best of what you’ve got—and having a good laugh along the way. Arizona, here I am! 🇺🇸🌵
Traveling Arizona, Listening to YOU! 🇺🇸🌵
Traveling the entire state of Arizona—because being Governor means showing up, listening, and understanding the needs of every community, not just the biggest cities. I love you, Arizona! ♥️🌵 Wickenburg today, and now I’m off to Bisbee and the surrounding communities! From our rural towns to our cities, I want Arizonans to know that your community matters, your concerns matter, and your voice matters. I’m running to be a Governor for ALL of Arizona, and I’ll keep traveling, listening, learning, and fighting for the people every step of the way. People over politics. Arizona first. Let’s go! 🇺🇸
Finally in Kingman! 🇺🇸🌵
I am finally in Kingman, and I’m so happy to be here! I loved the drive and am excited for the weekend ahead—meeting people, listening to the community, and continuing this incredible journey across Arizona. Being here also brings back special memories from growing up. My dad worked in construction and spent much of the year working in Kingman, so coming back here as a candidate for Governor feels especially meaningful. I truly love this journey, traveling across our beautiful state and connecting with the people and communities that make Arizona home. Thank you, Kingman, and thank you, Arizona! I’m here to listen, serve, and be your voice. ❤️🌵
Protecting Arizona’s Animals 🐾
Today, while I was out and about talking with Arizonans in the community, I randomly met Nicole. She invited me to come back and visit the animal shelter where she and her team care for animals waiting for their next home. It is heartbreaking to see so many animals in need of loving families, but I was incredibly impressed by the environment Nicole and her team have created. The shelter was clean, safe, organized, and clearly focused on the health and well-being of every animal in their care. Thank you, Nicole, and thank you to your entire team for the work you do every day! 🐾❤️ As Governor, protecting animals will be part of my commitment to Arizona. I will work with shelters, rescues, veterinarians, responsible breeders, and communities to strengthen animal-protection laws and address unchecked and irresponsible breeding that contributes to overcrowded shelters, abandoned animals, and unnecessary suffering. We can do better by our animals—and we can support the people and organizations working every day to protect them. Every life deserves responsible care and protection.
Celebrating 25 Years of Angel Manor
Today, I had the privilege of attending Angel Manor’s 25th Anniversary celebration in Kingman and was warmly welcomed by Wendy, the founder. For 25 years, Angel Manor has served individuals and families impacted by addiction, providing a safe environment focused on recovery, faith, life skills, personal responsibility, and rebuilding lives. I am grateful to Wendy and the entire Angel Manor community for welcoming me and for their dedication to serving Kingman and Arizona. Congratulations on 25 years of giving people hope, recovery, and second chances! Teri Ann Hourihan for Arizona Governor
When the Journey Feels Lonely, I’m Reminded of the Calling
I’m not going to lie—sometimes running for Governor as a true grassroots candidate can feel lonely. There are ups and downs in this race, as I’m sure there are in every journey worth fighting for. Some days I still find myself wondering how my life got here—walking communities, talking with Arizonans, and fighting every single day for a state and people I deeply care about. Today, I was walking around Norterra talking with people, and I was having one of those moments. Then I looked up and saw a man walking ahead of me with Jesus across the back of his shirt. And I smiled. It’s moments like this that remind me why I keep going. I have said from the beginning that this journey is more than politics for me—it is a calling. I may not always understand the path or know exactly where it will lead, but I know why I stepped onto it. So I’ll keep showing up. I’ll keep walking. I’ll keep listening. And I’ll keep fighting for Arizona and its people. One person. One conversation. One community at a time.
