Debates Matter, Arizona
Debates matter. They are one of the most important opportunities voters have to hear directly from the people asking to earn their vote. Arizonans deserve candidates who are willing to answer tough questions, explain their positions, and engage in open, honest discussion. I showed up for Arizona. My opponent did not for the Primary election. Now in the General Election Katie Hobbs is choosing to decline, her Lieutenant Governor Giles also declining while myself and Biggs will debate 10/06/2026 at 6pm. And if the Green candidate Risa Lombardo is not kicked out of there race before then due to alleged fraud in the clean elections then she will too.
When candidates refuse to debate, voters lose the opportunity to hear where they stand on the issues that affect their daily lives. Public service requires accountability, and debates are one of the best ways to demonstrate it.
I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to run for Governor of Arizona. Every day, I am thankful for the chance to meet people across our state, listen to their concerns, and share my vision for a better Arizona. It still feels surreal that I have this opportunity.
If I earn the privilege of serving as your Governor, I will work every day to make meaningful changes that strengthen our state, protect our communities, and ensure Arizona's government serves all of its people.

Stop Blending In. Think Independent.
Vote Independent. Nearly one-third of Arizona’s registered voters are Independent or unaffiliated. But being independent is bigger than what is written next to your name on your voter registration. You can be a registered Republican or Democrat and still think independently. You can step outside party expectations, reject the pressure to automatically vote for your party’s candidate, and choose the person you believe will best serve Arizona. I challenge Arizona voters to stop blending into the two-party system simply because that is what we have always been told to do. You do not owe any political party your vote. Your vote belongs to you. If you believe Arizona needs something different, then have the courage to vote differently. Republicans, Democrats, Independents, No Labels voters and unaffiliated voters can come together and choose people over party. We cannot keep demanding change while automatically returning our votes to the same two-party system. Independents—and independent-minded voters from every party—have the power to change Arizona politics. Stop blending in. Think for yourself. Vote for the person, not the party. Rise with me, Arizona. Let’s lead the nation in change.
Practical Healthcare Solutions for Arizona
As both a healthcare provider and business owner, I understand the challenges families face when insurance premiums, deductibles, and out-of-pocket costs continue to rise faster than wages. I also understand the pressures placed on employers who want to provide quality healthcare benefits for their employees but struggle with escalating costs. My administration will pursue innovative solutions that increase affordability and expand access to care. This includes developing employer rebate and incentive programs that help businesses provide healthcare coverage to their workforce, increasing transparency in healthcare pricing, and strengthening oversight to ensure insurance companies are not engaging in unfair pricing practices that drive up costs for consumers. I will also work to create additional healthcare options for Arizonans by encouraging competition, supporting independent healthcare providers, expanding access to preventive and mental health services, and reducing unnecessary administrative barriers that increase costs without improving patient care. Healthcare should be affordable, accessible, and focused on patients—not bureaucracy. Arizona can lead the nation in creating a healthcare system that supports families, employers, providers, and taxpayers while delivering better outcomes for everyone. As Governor, I will fight for practical, fiscally responsible solutions that lower costs, expand choices, and make healthcare more affordable for every Arizona family
Fighting for Affordable Housing and Lower Costs
Teri Ann Hourihan for AZ Governor. Arizona’s cost of living and inflation rates remain above national targets, making it increasingly difficult for families to afford housing, groceries, transportation, and other necessities. As Governor, I will address affordability by tackling its root causes. Arizona’s rapid growth, combined with water shortages, drought conditions, and housing supply constraints, has driven costs higher. By strengthening water security, improving school funding, reforming government agencies, and reducing fraud and waste, we can create long-term affordability for residents. My administration will work to lower utility costs, reduce inflationary pressures, increase wages, and expand opportunities for Arizonans to live within their means without needing multiple jobs. I will pursue stronger oversight of fuel pricing, expand rebate programs for teachers, first responders, public servants, farmers market vendors and shoppers, and incentivize water-efficient landscaping. I will promote affordable housing through adaptive reuse of vacant buildings, strengthen homelessness services, explore universal childcare options, and evaluate data center tax revenues to support affordability initiatives and public education
Protecting Arizona Healthcare & Respecting the Voters
Arizona voters deserve a Governor who will protect access to healthcare while respecting the laws decided by the people. Recent concerns raised by Arizona physicians focus on Andy Biggs’ record on Medicaid and abortion, including his support for federal Medicaid reductions and previous efforts to restrict abortion nationally. As a healthcare professional, healthcare business leader, and expert who has worked directly within Arizona’s healthcare system, I understand where the system is failing patients, providers, and taxpayers. As Governor, I will take on Arizona’s entire health-plan system, address the problems within AHCCCS, strengthen accountability, eliminate waste and fraud, protect legitimate providers, and make sure healthcare dollars actually reach the people they are intended to serve. I am pro-life, but I also respect the will of Arizona voters. Arizona voters established our current abortion law, and I will not seek to repeal or override what the voters decided. My personal beliefs will not replace the voice of the people I am elected to serve. Arizona needs a Governor who understands healthcare from the inside and is prepared to fix it—not another career politician talking about it.

Arizona deserves leaders who are willing to stand before the voters, answer tough questions, and defend their records. The gubernatorial debate is scheduled for October 6, 2026, and I will be there, ready to discuss the issues that matter most to Arizona. Reports indicate that Governor Katie Hobbs has declined to participate. I believe that’s disappointing because voters deserve to hear directly from every candidate. Leadership means showing up, being accountable, and engaging with the public—even when the questions are difficult. This election is about giving Arizona a new direction, and I look forward to earning your vote by answering your questions and sharing my vision for our state’s future.
