Big Money = Big Problems
As a candidate for Governor of Arizona, I believe that the influence of big money in politics has weakened public trust in government. When politicians rely on large donations, endorsements, or support from corporations, special interests, and political action committees (PACs), there is a risk that those interests will be prioritized over the needs of everyday Arizonans.
That is why I do not accept PAC money or corporate contributions and never will. My commitment is to remain accountable only to the people of Arizona, not to special interests seeking political influence. As governor, my decisions will be guided by what is best for Arizona families, taxpayers, small businesses, and communities—not by the demands of major donors or political insiders.
Arizona deserves leadership that is independent, transparent, and focused on serving its citizens first.
Discussion of State Priorities and Public Concerns
Teri Ann Hourihan for AZ Governor. This post by her yesterday shows how incredibly absent minded her and her team are to what is actually happening to all of us. This post makes me so angry for what is happening to us. These are her priorities. Billion dollar tax cuts she signed onto for the data centers Arizona and continues it. She is the governor and doesn’t stop it! She didn’t do the abortion law Arizonans voted, not Katie. She continues to take credit for it but it was the voters not her. And her hiking trail is the last thing she should care about. What is actually happening! Families are struggling with the cost of living, health care, housing, education, and public safety. Government should be focused on people first, not distractions from the real issues affecting everyday Arizonans. My focus will always be on you, your family, and your future.
Protecting Arizona Communities from Environmental Hazards
Every Arizonan deserves to live in a community that is safe, healthy, and free from environmental hazards that could threaten their well-being. As Governor, I will make protecting the health and safety of Arizona families a top priority.
I have heard concerns from residents regarding potential mining-related dust, soot, and other environmental contaminants affecting communities such as Cottonwood. When citizens raise concerns about possible health and environmental risks, government has a responsibility to investigate those concerns thoroughly, transparently, and without delay.
As Governor, I will ensure that state agencies respond quickly to reports of environmental hazards, conduct independent testing when appropriate, and provide residents with clear, accurate information about any risks to public health. If contamination is identified, I will work to hold responsible parties accountable and implement solutions that protect residents, businesses, and natural resources.
No community should feel ignored when questions arise about air quality, water quality, or environmental safety. The people of Arizona deserve answers, action, and accountability.
My administration will be committed to science-based decision-making, public transparency, and protecting the health of every Arizona community. Whether the concern is industrial pollution, hazardous waste, contaminated water, or air quality issues, I will ensure that the voices of Arizona residents are heard and that state government acts decisively to protect public health and safety.
This version avoids making an unverified claim that contamination is definitely occurring, while still allowing you to take a strong position that concerns raised by residents deserve immediate investigation and action.
Tucson Event for Campaign
As a candidate for Governor of Arizona, I believe leadership starts with listening and building relationships. I want to connect with people, communities, businesses, and organizations across our state, regardless of political party or ideology. Arizona's challenges and opportunities belong to all of us, and meaningful solutions come from working together.
I am committed to engaging with Arizonans from every background, learning from their experiences, and finding common ground where we can move our state forward. I am especially grateful for the warm welcome and conversations I've had in Tucson. The people, organizations, and community leaders there remind me of the importance of staying connected to the needs and hopes of everyday Arizonans as we build a stronger future together.
Protect the Salt River Horses
Arizona's wildlife is part of our heritage, and the Salt River wild horses have become an iconic symbol of our state. As Governor, I will work to protect these horses and ensure that any decisions regarding their management are guided by science, public input, animal welfare, and long-term sustainability—not politics, special interests, or financial gain.
For too long, decisions affecting our natural resources and wildlife have sometimes been driven by competing agendas rather than what is best for the animals, the environment, and the communities that value them. I believe Arizonans deserve a voice when changes are proposed that impact the places and wildlife they cherish.
I will oppose unnecessary actions that threaten the well-being of the Salt River horses or remove them from the landscape without clear justification. At the same time, responsible leadership means recognizing when intervention may be necessary to protect the health of the horses, preserve habitat, or ensure public safety. If relocation or population management is ever required, it must be conducted humanely, transparently, and with the goal of keeping these horses a visible and valued part of Arizona's communities.
My administration will prioritize conservation, animal welfare, and responsible stewardship so future generations can continue to experience the beauty of Arizona's wildlife. We can protect our natural heritage while making practical, sustainable decisions that serve both the animals and the people of our state.

Teri Fights for the Recovery Community
As a candidate for Governor of Arizona, I believe that recovery is possible and that every person struggling with addiction deserves hope, support, and the opportunity to rebuild their life. This issue is deeply personal to me. I have been in recovery since 2008, after getting sober at the age of 23.
My own journey taught me that people can overcome incredible challenges when they are given the right support, resources, and encouragement. I know what it is like to suffer, to fight for a better life, and to experience the transformation that recovery can bring. Those experiences have shaped my commitment to service and my desire to help others improve their quality of life.
The people who are struggling with addiction, mental health challenges, homelessness, and other hardships are not forgotten. They matter. As governor, I will advocate for solutions that expand access to treatment, support recovery, strengthen families, and help people move from survival to stability. My life has been dedicated to serving others, and I believe that one of the most important responsibilities of leadership is helping those who are suffering find hope and a path forward.
