Why I Am Running for Governor of Arizona

I never imagined that I would run for Governor—or for any political office. Like many Arizonans, I built my life around serving my community, raising a family, building a career, and trying to make a difference where I could. Politics was never part of the plan.

But as I went through my own struggle personally and professionally with state agencies and witnesses thousands of other providers and businesses also experiencing it, I saw a common theme: too many Arizonans are struggling and the government is not helping us. Families are facing rising costs, healthcare is becoming less affordable, housing is harder to attain, water is running out, agencies are serving themselves and not the people, and many people feel their voices are no longer being heard.

I felt called to step forward because I love Arizona and believe we can do better. This campaign is not about power or politics. It is about service. It is about standing up for the people who work hard every day and want a better future for themselves and their children.

I am grateful for the opportunity to serve the state that has given me so much. I do not claim to have every answer, but I am willing to listen, learn, and work tirelessly on behalf of the people of Arizona.

I would rather step forward and try than stand on the sidelines wondering what could have been. Even if the road is difficult, Arizona is worth fighting for. Together, we can build a stronger, safer, more affordable, and more accountable future for every Arizonan.

TERI ANN HOURIHAN FOR ARIZONA GOVERNOR

Hi, Arizona! My name is Teri Ann Hourihan, and I am running for Governor under the No Labels Party. I am excited about the opportunity to serve Arizona and work toward a better quality of life for every person and family across our state. I am practical, logical, and committed to making decisions based on what is best for the people of Arizona—not political games or special interests. I am not a career politician. I am a mother, a small business owner, a licensed therapist, an Arizona native, PhD, and a woman of faith. I believe these real-life experiences bring exactly the kind of leadership Arizona needs: leadership that understands people, solves problems, and never forgets who government is supposed to serve. I am ready to work for Arizona. I am ready to fight for our families, our businesses, and our future.

I am running for Governor because I love Arizona and believe our state can do better. We can make healthcare more affordable, improve education, protect our water resources, support businesses, strengthen public safety, and ensure government is accountable to the people it serves.

My campaign is not powered by political insiders. It is powered by hard work, determination, and a genuine commitment to the people of Arizona. I am willing to put in the time, knock on the doors, and have the conversations because Arizona's future is worth fighting for.

Together, we can build a stronger, safer, and more affordable Arizona for every family who calls this great state home.
