Putting Arizona Businesses Before Politics

When I see businesses across Arizona being hurt, struggling, and left without support, I can’t help but wonder why some businesses get the Governor’s attention while others are ignored. We see ribbon cuttings, grand openings, and photo opportunities, but what about the businesses that have spent years serving our communities, creating jobs, and helping people every day? As a healthcare provider and business owner, I’ve spent years serving Arizonans and helping thousands of people through some of the most difficult moments of their lives. Yet I often ask myself: where was the support when businesses like ours needed it most? Do you ever think about that? I do. Every business owner deserves to know their government sees them, hears them, and values their contribution—not just the businesses with the biggest donors, lobbyists, or political connections. As Governor, I will be a Governor for all Arizona businesses. I will not accept PAC money or large corporate donations because government decisions should be based on what’s best for Arizona—not on who wrote the biggest check. Arizona deserves leadership that shows up for everyone.

Big and Small Arizona is powered by businesses of every size—from family-owned shops and local startups to growing companies and major employers. Some are thriving, while others are fighting every day to keep their doors open, pay their employees, and serve their communities. As Governor, I will care about all Arizona businesses. I will work to reduce unnecessary barriers, support responsible growth, strengthen our workforce, and create an economic environment where entrepreneurs and businesses have a real opportunity to succeed. When Arizona businesses succeed, Arizona families, workers, and communities succeed with them. Arizona should be a place where businesses don’t just survive—they have the opportunity to grow and thrive.
Supporting Arizona Small Businesses
Small businesses are the heart of Arizona’s communities and a critical part of our economy. We must continue to support the entrepreneurs, families, and local leaders who take risks, create jobs, invest in our neighborhoods, and turn their ideas into something that strengthens Arizona. Urban Fraiche in Phoenix is a great example. Open for less than two years, this local business has already earned numerous awards and recognition—showing what can happen when hardworking Arizonans have the opportunity to build, grow, and succeed. We cannot underestimate or undermine the importance of small businesses and the people behind them. As Governor, I will advocate for an Arizona where small businesses have the opportunity to thrive—not be buried by unnecessary barriers, rising costs, or policies that make it harder to succeed. When we support small businesses, we support Arizona families, Arizona jobs, and Arizona communities. Let’s keep Arizona entrepreneurs growing.
