Fraud is NOT an Option When I am Governor
I don’t quit! We don’t quit. We fight together. These numbers I pulled today 6/6/26. Here’s a more polished and forceful version while keeping your message intact: As Arizona’s next governor, I will publicly dismantle and rebuild these agencies from the ground up.
There is nothing acceptable about these numbers. They are the direct result of failed leadership by Kris Mayes and Katie Hobbs. Has anyone ever heard either of them explain how they are fixing these problems? Not once. Because it isn’t happening. Kris Mayes regularly highlights prosecutions of private citizens while ignoring government failures and protecting the very agencies that are failing the people they are supposed to serve. Does that make sense to anyone? She is quick to attack individuals but unwilling to hold government accountable when government harms Arizonans. The people are being failed at every level, and these facts make me sick to my stomach. I will not look the other way. I will expose these failures, hold agencies accountable, restore transparency, and fix what is broken. Arizona deserves a government that serves its people—not one that protects itself.
Accountability for State Agencies
Arizona’s government agencies and public systems exist to serve the people—not to protect bureaucracy, political interests, powerful insiders, or institutions from accountability. As Governor, I will make reforming broken systems and confronting corruption a priority of my administration. When government agencies operate without meaningful oversight, families, businesses, healthcare providers, taxpayers, and vulnerable Arizonans can suffer the consequences. Government should never be allowed to investigate itself behind closed doors, ignore due process, selectively enforce rules, or avoid responsibility when mistakes or misconduct occur. My administration will work to strengthen independent oversight, increase transparency, require meaningful audits, protect due process, improve whistleblower protections, and establish clear accountability when agencies or government officials violate policies, procedures, contracts, or the law. I will also push for stronger review of government spending and contracts to identify waste, fraud, conflicts of interest, and misuse of taxpayer dollars. When problems are discovered, Arizona should correct them—not conceal them. Accountability must apply equally. No elected official, agency director, contractor, corporation, political donor, or politically connected individual should receive special treatment because of money, influence, party affiliation, or relationships. I am not running to protect the system as it exists. I am running to reform the parts of government that are failing the people they were created to serve. Arizona deserves a government built on transparency, due process, accountability, integrity, and equal application of the law. As Governor, I will work to return government to its fundamental purpose: serving the people of Arizona.
A Voice Against Corruption
Teri Ann Hourihan for AZ Governor. Arizona is a state I love, and I know countless others do too. That is why I have chosen to speak out against corruption, especially when it involves those in positions of power who are hurting the very people they were entrusted to serve. I intend to continue exposing corruption every day for the rest of my life. I also warn others that when you challenge powerful people, you should expect resistance. It will come. Those with money, influence, and authority often fight back loudly when they are exposed. They may try to discredit you, intimidate you, or silence you. When that storm comes, you have to plant your feet firmly and refuse to be moved. If you choose to expose wrongdoing publicly, especially by putting your own name and reputation on the line as I do, prepare yourself for the battle. It isn’t easy, but truth is worth defending. I have never believed in hiding from those I challenge. I prefer to face my opponents openly and stand behind every word I say. At the same time, I understand why some whistleblowers choose to remain anonymous. Sometimes that is the only way they can safely come forward. I fight for Arizona because I believe our state deserves honest leadership, transparency, and accountability. My campaign for Governor is not just about winning an election—it is about standing up to corruption and fighting back for the people of Arizona.
BACK-DEAL HANDSHAKES IN GOVERNMENT
Teri Ann Hourihan for AZ Governor. Arizona’s Medicaid system is facing serious challenges, with concerns about fraud, waste, and accountability—both inside and outside the system. The people who suffer the most are the patients who need care and the honest healthcare providers trying to serve them. Across Arizona, healthcare organizations are being heavily scrutinized and investigated, yet many providers feel they have no one advocating for fairness or due process. I have chosen to be that advocate. I once believed that Senator Carine Werner would stand with providers facing these challenges. Based on what I have observed, I have changed my view. I am concerned that political priorities and relationships have created distance between elected officials and the providers who are struggling. It appears that public support has been concentrated around one organization whose focus includes reporting providers while also maintaining relationships connected to multimillion-dollar contracts. Those circumstances deserve transparency and public scrutiny. Arizona deserves a Medicaid system that protects patients, holds bad actors accountable, and treats honest providers fairly. We cannot allow politics or financial interests to outweigh justice and due process. I will continue speaking out because the people of Arizona deserve answers, transparency, and a government that works for them—not for special interests.
AZ Medicaid Internal Corruption?

The more I examine what has happened in Arizona’s behavioral health system, the more concerned I become that there may be patterns deserving independent investigation. I want to be clear: I am not stating this as fact, because these are just me putting things together and creating questions. Of which, I believe there are serious questions that deserve answers. When behavioral health providers are shut down following complaints, who ultimately benefits? Are complaints always legitimate, or are some being weaponized by competitors? Are large providers with substantial state contracts disproportionately positioned to absorb clients after smaller providers close? Are state agencies investigating every complaint with the same level of scrutiny and due process? The situation involving NewFound Hope has raised additional questions for me. Public reporting documented that the provider was investigated, its operations at a Ramada hotel were scrutinized, and clients were later relocated after the facility ceased operating. Those events are matters of public record. What concerns me is whether there is a broader pattern across Arizona’s behavioral health system that deserves independent review. If providers, nonprofit organizations, government officials, or anyone else are coordinating to eliminate competitors rather than simply protecting patients, that would represent a profound failure of public trust. I am committed to continuing to ask questions, follow the evidence wherever it leads, and advocate for transparency. If there is no coordinated effort, an independent investigation should make that clear. If there is, the public deserves to know. Arizona patients, providers, and taxpayers deserve a behavioral health system built on fairness, accountability, and truth—not politics or favoritism
No Arizonan Should Go Hungry
Reports have raised concerns about problems with Arizona’s SNAP (food assistance) program, with payment errors and delays leaving some families without the benefits they depend on to buy groceries. When benefits don’t arrive on time, it can mean parents skipping meals, seniors struggling to eat, and children going hungry. As Governor, I will make sure Arizona’s safety net works the way it is supposed to. People who qualify for SNAP should receive their benefits accurately and on time. No family should have to wonder where their next meal is coming from because of government failures. We must improve accountability, fix broken systems, and ensure every eligible Arizonan has access to the food assistance they have earned.
